Thank Yous! (Vol III)

Around Thanksgiving, we love to take a look back at the many grateful folks who have expressed their thanks to us. Each kindness warms our hearts. Of course, we are oh-so thankful for each of these groups and the many folks that make our efforts possible. Our animals, volunteers, and staff all have so much love to share with our community.

We want to let you know how great it was to have the animals from Thorpewood visit with kids at the COIPP barbecue in Staley Park on Aug. 23rd. The animals were gentle and you and your staff were patient and kind. We appreciate you taking the time to bring animals to Frederick on a Friday evening in the summer. All in all the Thorpewood presence was a huge boon to our event and a wonderful experience for kids and adults alike! -Children Of Incarcerated Parents

Thanks so much for having us out there this weekend.  The kids had a blast.  They did not want to leave. -Cub Scouts

I wanted to reach out and thank you again for giving all of us at Laurel Hall the chance to check out what you guys have going on at Thorpewood. I have been talking about how awesome it is there all weekend and I can’t wait to get a chance to come back. – Laurel Hall

Your program is impressive and our S.W.A.G. Members and volunteers have requested we include Thorpewood in our program every year, since we first attended. -SWAG

Thank you SO much for taking us on that beautiful walk, for showing us around the property, and for encouraging us to eat lunch in one of the prettiest places I’ve had the pleasure of having lunch in a very long time! We love ThorpeWood and are so excited for Camp. And so very grateful for you and all of your help! -Camp Jamie

Many, many thanks for providing such a beautiful spot and outstanding program to us at no charge. Amazing! -SpiritTrust Lutheran

You are such an important part of our village! -Children Of Incarcerated Parents

We appreciated you all at Thorpewood so, so much! Not only was it a fantastic surrounding for therapeutic endeavors, but the care and intuitive support you all provided was insurmountably beneficial. Thank you, thank you for all you do, and did. -Kids Like Us
