On the 25th, we were delighted to once again host Living Through Loss. This grief support group is designed for parents who have lost a child to overdose. Each year, they come out to engage in healing activities and be in community with others who have been through similar experiences. This year’s program included QiGong, mindful time with our horses, kintuskuroi art, a catered lunch, a keynote speaker, and more.

On the 26th, I attended the City Youth Matrix Community Dinner. This powerful event brought together members of the community and the families involved in City Youth Matrix. I was honored to attend and learn more about their program as we begin to partner with this fine organization. To learn more about City Youth Matrix, check out their website here.
From the 26th through the 29th, the Humble Warriors set up camp at the farm. They largely used the homestead house at their homebase – we loved seeing them so at home there! The girls spent time playing in our stream, spending quality time with our animals, doing various art projects, journaling, and more. This group, led by Steph Dale, is exceptional and we are honored to host them at the farm.
