Distance Learning from the Farm

With all of our usual friends and visitors home-bound at the moment, we farm folk are doing our best to still spread some of ThorpeWood’s spirit. Though of course nothing compares with feeling the breeze and smelling the magnolia blossoms, we sure can try to bottle those feelings up and send them to our usual visitors over the internet. For the most part, we are focusing on engaging our Head Start friends through regular video uploads. These include read aloud stories and videos about the farm, exploring, and making nature art. We have partnered with Head Start to get these videos to the children through Head Start’s facebook page and google classroom.
