We farm folk are always working on new projects to enliven every corner of the farm. Right now, one of those projects is creating a book nook for our preschoolers (and ourselves) to enjoy! We were so delighted to receive a lovely and generous donation from our own Julie Castleman to help jumpstart this project. Her donation: a gift certificate to MahoganyBooks! This DC-based independent bookstore specializes in books written for, by, or about Black people (check out their website here!) We spent hours picking our very favorite books from this wonderful store and recently received them in the mail. Take a look at our selections!
